Our executive director, Dr. Robert Pierson, has written two books of significance in the field of evangelism.
Needs-Based Evangelism ($15 + shipping) - discusses methods for presenting effective evangelism programs in the Church today, according to the model that Jesus Christ gave to us- seeking to help individuals where they hurt and based on their needs. This type of evangelism is particularly needed now, in light of modern cultural shifts.
TELL ($18 + shipping) - This book discusses how we share our faith - providing practical and effective ways to share the gospel in a highly secular culture. Utilizing methods that are loving and grace-centered, not arrogant and self-righteous. The ideas and suggestions are practical and can be used as a part of a ten-week emphasis on sharing your faith in a local church, called Time to Tell. To purchase either of these books, email Bob Pierson.
Time to Tell – is a companion manual to TELL and will show how to organize the local church for a ten-week emphasis on sharing the faith
Prayer Journal – is designed to help individual Christians to pray, be encouraged, and gain direction in leading people to Christ

Our eNewsletters are designed to inform you of resources, materials, and ideas that we feel can be a valuable help to you. You may visit our archived eNewsletters page to download them.

Natural Church Development is a way of understanding church health and growth that views the church as a living organism. The focus is not on numerical growth, but on improving the health of the church, with the understanding–impressively documented by research–that when a church is sufficiently healthy, numerical growth will follow. These concepts are explained in the book Natural Church Development by Christian A. Schwarz.
ChurchSmart Resources is an independent Christian publishing company and training organization. Our focus is on church planting, church health and leadership development. They began publishing in 1994 with the goal to produce practical books and resource kits at affordable prices that would help church leaders improve their ministry effectiveness. We recruited authors who were experiencing positive results in their churches and could share the principles they applied and offer reproducible systems to others in ministry. Seminars soon followed to provide hands-on training for pastors, denominational leaders and other church leaders.
